GYTY53(GYFTY53) Optical Fiber Cable
The structure of the GYTY53 optical cable involves placing 250µm optical fibers into loose tubes made of high modulus material, with the loose tubes filled with a waterproof compound. The core of the cable consists of a central metallic strength member, which is coated with a layer of polyethylene (PE) for certain fiber counts. Loose tubes (and filler rods) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, with the gaps in the core filled with water-blocking material. An inner polyethylene sheath is extruded over the cable core, followed by longitudinally applied double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP), and then a polyethylene sheath is extruded to form the final cable structure.
