Self-supporting Drop Cable
For self-supporting access network indoor optical cables with butterfly-style access, the optical communication units are positioned at the center, with two parallel metallic or non-metallic strength members placed on each side. An additional steel wire strength member is added on the outer side. Finally, the cable is sheathed with a black or colored, low-smoke and halogen-free material.
