ADSS Optical Fiber Cable
The ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) optical cable adopts a stranded loose-tube structure, where 250µm optical fibers are housed within loose tubes made of high modulus material filled with waterproof compound. These loose tubes (including filler ropes) are stranded around a non-metallic central strength member (FRP) to form a compact cable core. Gaps within the cable core are filled with water-blocking gel. An inner sheath of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the cable core, followed by aramid yarn for reinforcement. Finally, an outer sheath of either polyethylene (PE) or Anti-Tracking (AT) material is extruded to complete the cable.
