GCY-144B Optical Fiber Cable
The GCY-144B air blown microduct cable features multiple 250µm bare optical fibers housed in individual high modulus material loose tubes filled with waterproof compound. These tubes are bundled around a central strength member, typically made of non-metallic materials like FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic), creating a compact cable core. An inner polyethylene (PE) sheath provides initial protection, while aramid yarn adds further strength. The entire structure is then encased in an outer polyethylene (PE) sheath for comprehensive environmental and mechanical resilience, making the cable suitable for diverse outdoor installation conditions.
